won't be enough, currently in order to "activate" proper rtl, your phone needs to be set on Arabic when using the original fw

Tomerr, see this post, (translate with google...)
h***s://ludovicscribe.fr/blog/firmware-francais-xiaomi-mi-band-3

so, technicly, if we can translate arbic to hebrew, and set the proper bytes, it maybe work?

the mentioned fw's in that post are seriously OLD . you should start reading this thread .
anything is possible, the question is - who's going to do it? proper RTL support is working well with Arabic. Bold font can display hebrew pretty well (though some characters are missing ..) combing everything together means fw editing

I dont realy care if the fw' s is old, its the principle for set up mb3 lang when the phone is on another lang.

Who's going to do it?
Maybe me, just need to be sure that my idea is applicable...

go for it..basically i believe it's possible - forcing the band display to stay in English with bold font , and to "believe" it's in Arabic for the RTL support

I'm currently using Mi Fit 3.5.6 (from store), Custom English bold font fw 2.2.0.14, Notify & Fitness 8.0.6 (free)
Phone is set on English, N&F sets band to be in Arabic .
Right to Left for Hebrew notification text is okay..!
no idea how it works, but apparently in this ver of N&F , it keeps the language settings for the band, even if I sync Mi Fit - which still controls the notifications and send them to the band

This is great news,

However i wrote to xioami (mifit->profile->feedback):

Dear Xioami team,
Please add hebrew to your mi band 3

If all hebrew owners that read this, will send a lot of feedbacks to xioami, maybe, just maybe, they will add hebrew....

i've written to them ages ago. i don't think they give a shit or have other priorities. funny thing is, the hebrew demo for Mi Band 3 shows hebrew text on the band..so maybe there's hope for the future

i am using the same version, same mi fit, with alert bridge (GB always stops) messages works perfect in hebrew, but the thing i am missing is caller id in incoming calls - no name heb or eng and no number, just a simple indication of a phone picture.. i saw that it can be added from mi fit, but i dont have this option of caller id. do you know why? or is it something i can do?

no idea, try to restart your phone / disable-enable bluetooth . also make sure mi fit doesn't control your incoming calls notifications

mi fit does control my incoming call (since alret brige dont), but i saw that mi fit suppose to have this function, as in the photo/demo , i dont have this at all..only enabling incoming calls (the first option in the pic)

Where to you write this code ?
changing the band's internal text won't give you anything without flashing custom fw which supports hebrew characters + somehow getting RTL support - which is currently impossible without using some sort of workaround with Gadgetbridge (unstable - loses bt connection all the time), or Notify & Fitness (need to pay for app to get it to control all notifications through it & stop using Mi Fit completely)

to sum up, at the moment, no hebrew support

With MagicalUnicorn help I modified FM ver 2.0.0.4 and change it to Hebrew.
Would some one would like to test my translation and give me feedback? So far work well for me.
