Question Updating firmware stuck

Hey guys..
I received yesterday my mi band 4.. since then I'm trying to use it.. but with no luck.

Problem is, it starts to update the firmware, but it stops on 0%... I left the whole night connected, but nothing..
Already mande another account, already did the master reset, tried old apks..

About upgrading, your current fw seems to be quite old. I bet you need to upgrade first to a lower fw version and then escalate to a newer one, step by step.

Yep.. it came with 1.0.4.16... and It's not nfc..

So, I tried older fw, newer, almost all of them, and it's stuck on 0%..
It's connected to the phone, cuz i tested sendind a message from this Notify to the band, and it appeared ..

In what order are you trying to update the band? You must first install resources and once finished then install firmware.

And make sure you are using the correct res + fw couple of files an the latest Notify &Fitness version (8.12.3 beta).

I didn't have this version of notify, i had the one that is on play store..
So i found this beta, installed, and im trying right now to send the .res first..
When i select the file, the program says that its a correct file.. but again, stuck on 0%
I'm trying with these..they are next to fw..
Firmware v1.0.4.38 / Resources v45 /

Unfortunately I'm almost run out of ideas. Notify&Fitness have several alternative methods to update firmware but I guess you've tried all of these. Maybe trying with another tool to update the fw (gadgetbridge, mi band master...).

I bought it on AliExpress, the store is Fantacy.. I'm still waiting them to reply my messages.. but they don care..they spent 2 weeks or more to send it.. and now they don answer me..

But, I'm going to try with these other apps.. thanks for now..

Just as a heads up for anyone else stuck in this situation, I struggled for 2 days trying to get it to work and even factory reset my phone a few times. Then tried to use a friend's phone and it failed to update once, immediately tried again and worked perfectly. Lots of trial and error seems to show that my phone (Samsung Note 9, rooted) won't successfully install any firmware (or resources, fonts or watch faces) but the other 3 I've tried all work flawlessly.

So if anyone's about to give up and bin the thing, it might well be your phone and not the watch. I've no idea why though.

Ok first you should check if your mi band is working correctly. 2nd I would like to know how many times you have tried to update it. Have you tried changing devices for your update. I think the problem is with the band's firmware, which is unable to recieve and install update. Also could you forward the link of your product you purchased from aliexpress

hey you.. so, i tried with my gf's phone, friends' phone, mom's phone.. android and ios.. but nothing..

yeah, seems to be working.. it sometimes turn off the screen and doesnt turn on again.. i have to click some times to turn on..
i tried zillion times.. created logins with all kind of account.. mi, google, facebook, etc..
bought from fantacy..

For your issue, I would recommend you to use your band and drain its battery completely, Then charge it till 100. Then factory reset your band and then reinstall the app then you should be able to connect the band. Now try to update it. Tell me what happened after this procedure

I have the same problem... I've tried everything you did. The mi band had the firmware 1.0.7.44 and updated on it's own to 1.0.9.30
I can't fix it. Did you find anything else to solve the problem? Please help!
