I did this. Mi fit didn't connect. But the band was still paired in mi fit. Should I first unpair in mi fit, then unpair from Gadgetbridge and then pair with mi fit again? Is that the right order to follow? Thanks for your effort to help!

I guess so. But after the first 3 steps the band told me to connect to the app ...so I had to install the resources.Otherwise I would have nothing. Strange but the truth. I am experienced in IT, I knie what I'm talking about. Sometimes you really don't know why.

I followed these steps, I had to install resources V37 manually by the way... but Gadgetbridge is still needed to let my Mi Fit app connect to the band, strange but true. I guess it has something to do with my Huawei P Smart... But thnx for the advice!

I installed the modified fit app because I also find the GB icon annoying, but on my Huawei P Smart still Gadgetbridge needs to be connected. Annoying but hé it works and that matters!

Yes you can. I do this also. I mostly need to connect with Gadgetbridge before syncing my band with mi fit. But it works.

I just installed dutch. I set the language of my phone back to dutch and all seems fine.,I notice that it is necessary to use Gadgetbridge to be able to connect to the mi fit app. But it works!
