I just installed dutch. I set the language of my phone back to dutch and all seems fine.,I notice that it is necessary to use Gadgetbridge to be able to connect to the mi fit app. But it works!

Hi Kirill, thanks for your help! I just noticed a small translation problem. If I go to the calories, it just says "Burned" ("Verbrand" in Dutch) so maybe this should be "Calories" in Dutch (calorieën) or "Calories burned" which is "calorieën verbrand". It's just strange to just see "Burned"

Because "Burned" is the phrase you can see in original English FW. If you want to change it, please edit phrase translation on portal.

It's ok, it's just a bit strange. I also noticed that it uses another font which looks great! It much cleaner and I can read it much better because it is a bit "bolder".

Yeah, this font is much better. I will compile English FW with it too.

I also noticed that that font includes emojis or special characters. Normally some notifications would show ??? But now they show the right symbols :)

I don't think so. I have connected with it to change my firmware to dutch.
After that it only connects to the mi-fit app.

Hi,

Is there any chance that the Dutch firmware could be updated ? Or can I help to do so? The translation is already approved, and I have read somewhere that the FW is changed with a hex editor (or text editor because the strings are readable). I'm ready to help, just have to find a way to replace the strings faster on a mac then type them all.

Greetz,

Michel

after flashing from your original firmware to the dutch firmware, can you still use the official mi fit app?
