Question Updates - Beta Firmware - Pros/Cons

Hello! New user here and also a new MiBand 5 user too! I would like a brief explanation of Pros/Cons by using a Beta Firmware, but i know, being beta means that can be unstable, but what features i have by using that? More languages, more functions, more battery? And by being more updated means that i am blocked to use certain mods, right?
Example: Mi Watch Band, resources v81 when i have the v87 installed.
