found the solution: I had to use the bluetooth settings of my phone to disconnect the band and to reconnect to it, afterwards it was found by Gadgetbridge and I can install the res file.

I got the same problem, the band does not connect to any app and when I try to establish the connection the app tells me the band should vibrate, but it does not vibrate :-(
