I think the sales in France officially start on 3rd july so you can simply continue using the modified apk with a Mi account, and when Italian is officially available you can switch back to the official app ! same thing for french, it works perfectly with the apk

I had this issue when trying to login with my google account on the custom apk. I created a Mi account and had no issue to login. Previously I had logged in the official app with google account before desinstalling, maybe it is related !
