The way they changed dnd is not ideal. Yes it is easier to activate it on the band but I was watching something on tv and smart dnd turned on thinking I was sleeping. They should have left it as an option to select dnd hours.

I had the same problem no caller id no sms notification and a few other things. I moved from mi band 3 to 4 and messing around with the mi fit app I found that if I turn off and then turn on caller id sms notification and the other options it started working. So you could try that, don't know...

I find it extremely disappointing that this version doesn't have support for diacritics. It ruins notification for me. Is there a way to add this without custom fw?

If you have English US language on you phone change it to English UK.

@rendal can I upload and modify the res version of this file from your FW Mili_wuhan_2.3.0.6_RES-v46_mod-v03_bold_EN? I want to keep for now the 2.3.0.8 FW with 46 res and be able to update the mi fit up without updating to latest FW and res.

Hmm ok, I will look into it but I don't need the firmware in RO. I use english FW and just need the diacritics for notifications.

For me at least the firmware didn't update just the new res, and that made the band unusable.

Oh I see, my phone language is set to English. On the other fw I could use the EN language on phone and get notifications with diacritics.

Not sure what you mean. I installed the firmware with notfiy and fitness but uninstalled after. I use mi fit 3.5.9.

That is strange. It shows ? for me. And the letters are to big for notifications. A lot of letters are cut like W M N

@rendal Hi. Could you include Romanian diacritics (ăâîșț) in the english bold font utf-8? Also the spacing of letters seems odd especially after i letter and m. Thank you for you work!

Sorry if I insist but did you have the time to look at the problem I posted in the previous firmware? The only negative thing of thr firmware is that annoying cut of text at the end of every screen from a notification.

But it seems that because the font is bigger the last row of every screen is not displayed. It should be transferred to the next screen. Not sure how easy is this to fix by messing with the firmware.
