How to get the Auth key ?
(Work with no rooted and rooted Smartphones) ​

Zepp
(formerly Amazfit)​

⤳ Download and install latest Modified Zepp - All in One: sticked here.
⤳ Open Zepp and login to your Mi Account.
⤳ Go in "Profile" -> *Smartband/Smartwatch name* -> "Settings".
⤳ Tap on "Save" button in "Auth Key" part.
⤳ Open your File Explorer application, go in "Download/Zepp/" folder and open "Information.txt" file.
⤳ It's all !

⤳ Download and install Modified Mi Fit "No update - Auth key" : Mega.

STEP 2​

⤳ Open Mi Fit, login to your Mi Account, and synchronize data.
⤳ Open your File Explorer application, go in "Mi Fit" folder and open "Information.txt" file.
⤳ It's all !

Seen this posted all over different places recently... My only concern is has anyone looked at the apk and made sure it doesn't contain anything nasty..... Always weary of stuff like this, not that I need it more thinking of others...

You must have the Auth key if you want use an Application without Mi Fit (for example Notify & Fitness).

Have you read the websites I credited ?
In Free my band, the Mi Fit version is too old (4.0.6), it's why I created this thread and modified latest Mi Fit to get the Auth key .
Also have a tutorial here can only be a good thing, people will don't need search in other websites without know if the procedure said is safe or if the application shared contain nasty things .

When something isn't from me I credit the author and add link to the original content, like here for example.

By the way you can look all threads I did on forum, no complaint about nasty things in my work . And if you really want be sure, decompile my modified application and look what I modified .

I know the procedure to get Auth key is released and shared since long time, but I didn't found free time before to modify latest Mi Fit Application to get Auth key ^^. By the way I always try share the better work I can, so I always try what I modified and try to improve it, so it take time .

I am not able to sign into the Mi Fit mod app. It it just stuck at "Just a sec..." Screen after selecting my Google account and I have tried it on 2 of my phones, same on both.
