Question iPhone Stop App Update

Hey guys, so what I understand is that I can't do the chinese to english on ios. So I switch it on android and then pair it with iOS but the problem is that once the official Mi Fit app on iphone updates itself it will update the firmware and the custom FW is gone right? Do you guys know any way to prevent the single app on iphone from updating itself? Thanks
