Searched the forum but couldn't find an answer.
I would like to give my MB3 to a friend and get an new MB3 with NFC, once available.
I do not have MiFit installed, but use Notify & Fitness. This program has an option "Replace MiBand with a new MiBand". That is neat! My concerns are with the custom firmware ( Dutch v1.3.0.8) I am using.
It is probably time to install a more recent f/w. The new MB3 will come with Chinese stock f/w.
What would be the best procedure to migrate MiBands?
- backup all data
- use MiFit to update f/w of the old and the new MB3 and install custom f/w Dutch
- restore data on new MB3
