So the problem isn't the Firmware.
You use Notify and Fitness ?

Korean firmware still has the same issue.korean font kj could not be flash with update error massage with notity fitness app.

I have tried with custom kj font, seems like okay for flash. But display connect app notification. So I flashed ft not kj, then nfc came back normal.

I this their is some kind of lock with kj font.

What Firmware language you use ? If you can't see "öäüß", use the English Firmware. I haven't other solution :/.

I am using FW 1.5.0.2 (German), Resources v44 | Mi Band 3 NFC, the patched Mi Fit App 3.5.5.1 and Mi Band Tools 3.7.7
I have disabled "Remove Accents (diacritics)" in the Mi Band Tools 3.7.7 settings.

I have no problems with "äöüßÄÖÜ" whatsoever.
They appear in the band GUI, the weather information and in pushed messages/notifications.

Yes it's necessary uninstall Official Mi Fit for install Modified Mi Fit .

If you know how to modify an Hex file you can translate the Firmware, else don't try .

when i wanted to install other firmware .. via gadget bridge it showed " element cannot be installed"
how can i fix it? iam have no clue what am i doing wrong...

It worked i download the english version.
But in weather still got chinese. How can i fix that? If i update the normal version not the english the whole band is in chinese..

I've got my Mi Band 3 nfc version yesterday.

First I've installed original apk 3.5.4 (updated firmware and resources).
Then I've installed custom polish firmware using Notify and Fitness,
Then I've installed custom apk 3.5.4 and later 3.5.5.1.

The problem is so I've no weather notification - "Connect with apk to update weather", and when I receive an email for example I've bunch of "?" instead of messages, also there is no messenger messages displayed but when somebody send me something I get a notification in Polish - something like: "You've a new message on messenger".

EDIT: Weather is correctly displayed now, only notifications shows messages without Polish characters.

EDIT2: I've updated Miband Tools to 3.7.7 as @MIGerm mentioned - now everything is fine.

Hello, I have my band 3 with nfc I tested the firmware version in Portuguese, it went well but I do not know what happened I was left with some invalid characters "?" for example "cart?es" , "frequ?ncia", "notifica?oes" etc etc, already tried everything to revert to the original firmware in Chinese and it gets all with invalid characters like this "?" inside a small square, could you please help me?
