Tutorial Quick and dirty mi band 4 hebrew support

Quick guide for Hebrew support and rtl notifications


Prepare yourself ?
1.mi band 4 doh
2. Mi fit apk (Notify & fitness don't work without this)
2. Notify & fitness pro 8.11.1 and up (didn't work on the free version and support the dev) stand alone see in menu > whats new how to pair

Let's Start the party

1. Install and connect mi fit and n&f pro (not going to explain the apps will guide you)
2. In the n&f app click the settings tab > tools > mi band language > Español or russian

3. Select the hamburger menu

4. Select the gear icon

5. Select the advanced tab > torn on right to left text

And there you go working Hebrew on your mi band 4
The only problem with this settings the mi band menu is in Español not a problem for me the icons easy to understand

yea..great "guide". after changing the language to Spanish in N&F , your band's menus will be shown in..Spanish.

Yes both most be installed
Chinese version I think yes
You can always install custom fw

I don't think there's n&f for ios

I still have a problem, the messages from WhatsApp or from the mail are still reverse. In the settings, it's the same for right to left or not. Do you know how can I fix it? Thanks!

Just know that Hebrew does not work 100%
message from groups in whatsapp Not showing well
Also the language of the watch is in Spanish and sometimes goes back to English when there is synchronization with the MIFIT app

Upgraded to Pro version.
Now, Hebrew Fonts in WhatsApp are showing LTR . useless.
Not as normal - RTL Hebrew...
Is there any solution for that?

Change of language to Spanish in Notify & fitness
Download this version and make a firmware update if it exists

I'm not sure about how to get the Hebrew fonts, but once you have them, you can use Alert Bridge or Gadgetbridge(not from the play store) to see RTL notifications.
That works exactly as N&F and are free..

In any case, if you still see ltr, make sure you disable the notification from mi fit.
If the lines are not current (starting on the next line and goes up), reduce the line length on the app.

Alert Bridge or GB never worked well with MB3, I gave them both many attempts, seriously doubt something has changed since then.
There are no "Hebrew fonts", there's only the modded "International Mi Fit" Kirill published which updates the MB4 font so it does able to show Hebrew characters (LtR) when you change the band's language in N&F to Spanish or French etc - then ofcourse this changes the menus on the MB to the selected language..which is makes this a poor workaround all together.
also, there's no need to buy N&F anymore as in recent versions it supports free usage while adding adds at the bottom of the app , so all the "pro" features such as notifications text are available for free. its RTL support does work but poorly as every word shows in its own line

I Downloaded the Notify app (mi band notify 8.9.8 pro version).
The app is synced data with mi fit app.

Still seems I don't have some options that shown in the picture:
"Mi Band Language" under Tools menu.
what can I do?
