Greek language for
Mi Band 4 NFC​

Your band must be on fw 1.0.7.10 & res v66.

Install MiFit-4.0.11-Greek_MB4-RU-lang_no-OTA.apk to prevent OTA update.
Download firmware file 1.0.7.10 from @jkh0kr post here
Download and unzip resources file MB4_v66_GR_res.pack.bin.
Flash resources and firmware using Notify & Fitness v8.9.8 (or newer). ​

Although not particularly important, it is preferable to first flash the resources file and then the firmware file, to avoid the reboot of the device before you finish so no synchronization is lost.

You can now uninstall the Notify & Fitness. If you prefer to use it alongside this special Mi Fit,
then the language setting for the Mi Band 4 in Notify & Fitness should be left on Default.

All strings are translated, but few messages are coming from firmware and will be untranslated like:

Updated successfully
Couldn't update
Syncing…
Synced successfully
Couldn't sync
Connect to MI Fit to update again
Fully charged
Pair the phone?
Paired successfully

• Caller ID enabled with all phone system languages.
• Weather information in Greek (or English for all other phone languages).
• Greek speech when activity is started and phone language is not English.
• Google Maps when activity is started.
• OTA update for Mi Band 4 disabled.
• All UI languages except Greek and English removed to reduce app size.
• Latest (up to now) Greek firmware for Mi Band 2 & Mi Band 3 (all models) included.

The Mi Band 4 NFC unlike simple Chinese model, after issuing firmware 1.0.5.22 & resources v52 cannot be switched to other languages than English and Chinese, even if they are officially supported by the firmware.

We cannot alter Chinese or English translation with Greek translation. This way, Greek characters cannot be displayed leading to blank menus so we stuck with this version for now. Better than nothing tho

so with v52 you can force with 3rd party application to set different language than chinese and english? does this mean that the translation use UTF-8 encoding/bold font?

Can't say if it is bold or not...characters looks same to me, but yes we need UTF-8 support for other languages special characters. Forcing English or Chinese, we haven't. So we stuck on v52. It is the latest that can be forced to 3rd language with UTF-8 support... in this case, Russian.

Yes you can select any officially supported language. Tried few of them not all tho
