Require install a Custom Font using Notify for Mi Band or Notify for Amazfit (depend of your device). If there isn't Custom Font for your device, there is no way to get not officially supported emoticons displayed.

They're not corrupted, ".png" files are in reality TGA (Truevision Targa) files. If you use a Linux distribution, you can rename ".png" files to ".tga", then convert them to PNG format using ImageMagick: convert "filename.tga" "filename.png"
