Hi all,

I'm using OP5 and I have Mi fit running on it, connecting to mi band 3.

the app itself shows american date format MM/DD for all English I choose (English-USA, English-UK, English-Germany).
If I change to other lanugage, like Spanish Date format is Ok.

OP insist date format of the deivce is correct: For English-UK it shows: 21-Aug-2018 (exactly like if I change to Spanish).

So it seems something with the app.

My guess is that the app shows American format MM/DD for all English, no matter which one.

Anyone else can share his expiriecne?

Thanks

If the FW uses mm/dd for all english languages, then it could be that theres only one config (lets say American) on the band to load for it

for a exactly information we would need @Kirill to look into the fw file since thats out of reach for me.

If this is true, the official Developers need to fix this inside their Code

I'm not sure how it works.
As when I talked with OP support, they show me that in the mobile device itself, when you change between English USA to English UK for example, the date changes from (August 26 2018 to 26 August 2018).
But in the mi fit app, It remains the same, with american format.
If I change mi mobile device to German for example, I get 26 august 2018 in the mobile device, but DD/MM (proper date) on the mi fit. Yet, in the band, it's still MM/DD.

I don't see any sense here.

Yeah i understand what you mean.

Therefore we need to find out, under which conditions the config gets loaded

@AEbby Can you help me check the app?
Can you change your mobile device to English US, and to English (other, might be German, UK.,..) and see what's the date format you see in the app itself?

I think the app config file doesn't differentiate between different English types.

I looked into my settings, i only got english & english (Germany) , no option for anything around american/us

Even if i changed the language my system is still german since i removed some systemfiles (to reduce the systemsize)

seems like i removed the languageselection for system too :)

If you change to English German, in the app, what is the format of the date you see?
If I change my device to English German the format date is MM/DD.
So it seems that format date for all English is MM/DD (in my device, or in the app. I don't know.)
