Question How to: English in the band with non-English phone UI?

Is it possible to use Mi band 3 in English when non-English language is used in the phone? If yes, what are the steps to accomplish it?

I'm not sure, but I think if you install the custom English firmware (English Firmware 1.2.0.8 for Mi Band 3 | Xiaomi Mi Band 3 | GeekDoing) you can set your phone's language to any other language.

Although original FW can display items in English language, it needs your phone default language set to English. Otherwise Mi Band will be in Chinese. That's why you might need this custom firmware where English language is set explicitly.
