I just tested again with mi band 4 global version, without any problem.
Same as MagicalUnicorn said, before installing, please uninstall the old Mi fit app.
After the mi band connect, it will start to install the new firmware.....

The current firmware from official is only English and Chinese in it. The apk in this thread with a firmware with English, Chinese, Russian, French, Spanish, Italian, German. The global version and the Chinese version is using the same firmware.

Install the apk from this thread, it will update to the firmware by itslef.
