Question Mi band 4 display off after 1 sec. Not responding

I've got an international mi band 4. Produced June 2019.
When I press the button the screen turns on, when I am lucky I can get one page down. Then the mi band doesn't respond anymore and the screen turns off. This was from the beginning, never worked normally.

Started on firmware 5.40 then tried older firmware 5.22, now on new 5.48. All the same problem.

Managed to get to the reset to factory settings button (took me an hour to get there). But this also didn't work.

Tried pairing with other android device and other account, also no success.

Start to think this is hardware problem. Anyone with the same problem?

Maybe you should call seller and activate warranty.

Can you re-pair it via bluetooth on a new account? It will force a band reset.

I already tried pairing with other device. This worked, but problems with band remain.

Maybe warranty it is then..
