Discussion Mi Band 5 | Original Firmwares/Resources/Fonts

Hi everyone. I just got the international version of Mi Band 5. The box says "Mi Smart Band 5", model: "XMSH10HM" and production date: 07/2020. According to the information posted in this forum this model number corresponds to the "York" codename which has been renamed "Amazfit Band 6".

Thus, am I right to assume I cannot use the firmwares in this thread as they are intended for the Kongming and Kongming L devices, and instead I should be looking at this thread? I'm kind of confused because the box says "Mi Smart Band 5". Also I should be installing the Zepp app instead of the Mi Fit?

York is A2005, check this thread, up to date :).

My God... What a model... mess :) . So, could you please verify that I'm in the right thread, I should be using the firmware files you post here and the Mi Fit app?

I hope this is the adequate place to ask, but my model number is XMSH10HM, It's the CN Non-NFC version as far as I know, I rolled back to MiFit 4.4.0 a while back as later versions wont support Spanish, should I keep myself from updating? Or is there any posibility that they will enable my language again? Thank you :)

We can't answer you about if they will enable again or not all languages for CN version. You can try ask Huami ^^.

Oh my, I'm sorry, I thought that they would have maybe re-enabled them already.
Would you recommend installing the modified Mi Fit? Would that still have spanish for my model? Thank you in advance! :D

Can you please explain, does the Chinese version support the same languages as the global version? Do they have the same firmware ?

Same Firmware for all Mi Bands 5 (CN/CN NFC/Global), but only Chinese/English enabled for CN/CN NFC with newer Firmwares than 1.0.1.32.

I realised. I know Hebrew is supported Do you know if it is supported in both versions? PS I know it's reverse Hebrew.

Yes, you can use Hebrew by uploading version 1.32. Then install mifit mod and select the language you want. keep uploading version 2.20 and you will get Hebrew

Cool! So version 2.20 that will arrive in the future should support full Hebrew?
