Question Mi Band 6 NFC payments with Curve

Hi all.
I wanted to know if Mi Band 6 NFC can be used in an unsupported country by choosing Curve.
I believe, for example, that Portugal and Spain are able to be selected in Mi Fit app, but none Bank is displayed when selecting those countries.
Can we select Italy (Curve) and use it in another country?
