Question newer firmware?

Hi

I see that message on my mi3 "Connect to app to update" , its already on 2.4.0.32 , I even reflashed it with the same firmware, still that screen is there, is it a bug or I just have to ignore it. I dont use the oficial app. just the "notify & fitness" thanks in advance

You have this message because your Resources version doesn't correspond to Resources version required by your Firmware version.

thanks, bit weird as on the "device info" (via "notify & fitness") says resourceVersion=49 so I assume there is a "newer" v49 of the resources?

The V49 version of Resources is the latest. It is possible that you have the wrong fonts, upload the original font file.

thanks I just did it too, still that screen exist on my mi3, never mind... looks like garbage firmware.

You can download latest Firmware and Resources from GeekDoing and install them to be sure problem not come from this files ^^.
Just to be sure, you only have this message on screen and can access to nothing ? Isn't a message in weather page ?

no its just an additional screen , between the "notifications" and "more" (at least on my mi3) i can do anything as usual, that screen appeared out of the blue without any reason, so I assumed that a new upgrade is avail.

It's weather page, if you use Notify and Fitness you have to find where set it, then it will be displayed on your Mi Band 3 (it can take little time).
With Mi Fit it will finish by appear after some minutes/hours/days .

oh gosh.. you are right!! how I did not notice that!! #facepalm!! false alarm then!! cheers for the help!!!!

update: I changed the weather provider from ECWMF to the next one (Dark Sky) and now works, it seems that the ECWMF stopped temp the updates
