Question Whatsapp double notification problem

I get sometimes twice the same message from WA to the Mi Band. Is this a bug on the Mi Band/Mi Fit side or is it a WA thing?
Anything I could do to rectify this?

is your phone xiaomi? if yes i can say that's from miui because i faced too but no problem for me

Nope mate, I don't have xiaomi phone. I've even tried this with 2 phones and same thing happens.

I've tried now Notify&Fitness, and then Gagdetbridge and the problem remains. Though to be honest with GB i could not even get the WA messages to work at all. Weird app.

My brother just released an app to fix this Whatsapp notification problem. It simply takes the notifications from whatsapp and forwards them removing the duplicates:

Cheers mate. That looks good. So far I've been using Mi Band Master to handle WA msgs as it seems to block multiple notifications from WA. I am gonna try that app you posted soon...

You should switch over to using an upgraded version of whatsapp that gb whatsapp techbigs to be able to use the new features and quality.
