do we have OTA links? the reason why i always ask cause downloading from mega is circumstantial and not universal such a http download. not universal for every device.

i don't get it why is so hard to share the original source. not all browsers can handle these solutions and it's not a big deal to share a public link what you already own. it's also much better to work with.

or please send me in private where can i find these if it's super secret.

If an official firmware is released but it's resources and font file is the same as the previous version/s, will the new update still overwrite them?

Or will the update process remove any unnecessary files?

It will only update what isn't up to date.
So, if you already have Resources v96 installed, it will not update it.

Hi.
The text on your Mi Band is "Pair First", just like you bought a new Mi Band (Or you did a factory reset).
First tell me which app are you using, Mi Fit, Notify and Fitness or both of them?

@marinelo2020 pair with Mi Fit first. install latest firmware with MU's modified Mi Fit or do it manually then set the language with Mi Fit or any prefered 3rd party application which can handle languages. as far as i know on Mi Band 4 chinese version languages are not restricted just limited by the nature of this variant.

As far as I know the "Pair First" text always shows in Chinese on Mi Band 4 Chinese version. So I think it's not the problem and it's unnecessary to install another firmware.

nobody said that this is a problem. it's recommended to update since it's not the latest firmware. btw no, global variant start with english by default.
