@rendal, thank you very much for the info.

Just one thing about the chinese versions V0.18.3.2, V0.18.3.4 & V0.18.3.6: its heart rate sensor is similar to the NFC one. The photo you show is global version.

Yep. Some news about the "Mi Band 4" told that it came with an improved heart rate system. If that improvement is software based maybe the newest "Mi Band 3" revision can be also improved since sensor is the same.

And this sensor is big... Maybe battery life should be shortened:

whats the different fw between hankou & wuhan? AFAIK in wuhan (chinese version with hw rev V0.18.3.2) there is no CE logo/disposal logo on 'about', but after i flashed fw 1.2.0.8 mod on wuhan the logo shows up on about menu
so it is same/different?
just curious.

Wuhan is old mb3 with a normal heart rate sensor but in Hankow an improved heart rate sensor was given who's uses a completely different firmware named : mili_hankou.fw
But normal one uses : mili_wuhan.fw

Does anyone know how to change from chinese default language to english default language (i dont mean installing every new firmware in chinese and than in english)? Like to go from V0.18.3.2 to V0.18.4.1?
Is it even possible to change it like that?

Hardware revisions cannot be changed. HW Revision is stored outside the Application Firmware (Application Firmware, FW uploaded via Bluetooth) and this is just a small part of the Firmware. Respectively the Firmware section for the given HW revision.
The solution is to change versions of Firmware and Resources, this will prevent updates.
