Hi,
To make sure of that, i've paired in the P10Lite requesting factory reset to the band and it paired.
I've then unpaired it and disconnected the p10 lite Bluetooth.
I've then tried again with the visibility option enabled, but nothing changed.
I'll try to factory reset the P8 Lite to see if it's a software problem on the phone.
But I'm basically clueless.
Although the P8Lite is a 3 year old phone, it is a decent phone and modern enough to have it paired with the band.
I agree with you I seam that it was lucky for me to make it work on my p8lite using that visibility trick
other suggestions I found searching google
1. try connecting to the p10 lite leave it connected on mi fit app then just turn off Bluetooth on p10 and then enter in the same mi account on the p8 lite and try to sync with p8lite
2. There is a free app on the app store called BLE Scanner. Find the band and "bond" with it in that app, then try in Mi Fit or whatever app you may be using.
3. Check app by app (yes, slow and boring) which has permission to Bluetooth. Usually you have to go to app manager -> select app -> permissions -> all permissions. Kill those, which have access.
let me know if the factory reset to make it work or if my last suggestions did the trick
sorry not being able to give a 100% working solution I struggle a lot to then I get lucky
