Hello,

Anyone has the same problem when connecting mi band 3 with huawei p8 lite?

It simply won't connect the Bluetooth on the phone is according to mi band requirements but no connection.

Will it work with modded firmware and or modded app?

thank you

Hello,

I've the same issue.

I own 2 Huawei phones, the P8 Lite and the P10 Lite,

With P8 it's very hard to make it work. with P10 is instant connect.

I'm with 1.5.0.2 on the band.

I've managed to connect it once with the Mfit App and the notify& fitness.

I've then removed Mifit, and can't sync it again. Re-pair bluetooth don't work also.

Any ideias?

Did you try on Bluetooth options click on it "long press" and then make it visible every time, this means that the visibility of your Bluetooth for other devices will be more than the default (i thing the default is 2min)

Give it a try and let me know if it works or if it was I who got lucky

if the band was paired to some phone you need to unpair it first.

that was the error you have before?

you can also try with mi fit app using the same account that you use to connect before, since the connection is also made on mi servers.

I have a p8 lite and after I increase the time that my bluetooth phone is visible to other devices its start to work with mi fit, but I honestly don't know if I was lucky or really find a good solution.

If it works for you maybe this is a way to go, let me know.

Hi,

To make sure of that, i've paired in the P10Lite requesting factory reset to the band and it paired.

I've then unpaired it and disconnected the p10 lite bluetooth.

I've then tried again with the visibility option enabled, but nothing changed.

I'll try to factory reset the P8 Lite to see if it's a software problem on the phone.

But I'm basically clueless.

Although the P8Lite is a 3 year old phone, it is a decent phone and modern enough to have it paired with the band.

I agree with you I seam that it was lucky for me to make it work on my p8lite using that visibility trick

other suggestions I found searching google

1. try connecting to the p10 lite leave it connected on mi fit app then just turn off Bluetooth on p10 and then enter in the same mi account on the p8 lite and try to sync with p8lite
2. There is a free app on the app store called BLE Scanner. Find the band and "bond" with it in that app, then try in Mi Fit or whatever app you may be using.
3. Check app by app (yes, slow and boring) which has permission to Bluetooth. Usually you have to go to app manager -> select app -> permissions -> all permissions. Kill those, which have access.

let me know if the factory reset to make it work or if my last suggestions did the trick

sorry not being able to give a 100% working solution I struggle a lot to then I get lucky

Hi!

Yes, factory reset to the P8Lite did the trick.

It paired immediately wit Notify & Fitness.

Let's hope it is a permanent fix.

Thank you for your help.
