    I see. But how is japanese encoded in UTF-8? Considering there are over 2000 characters? Are only the hiragana and katakana encoded?

    The language of India is Hindi, at least according to Wikipedia, so I think you should change that.

    Because there's no language called Indian iirc Edit: After looking through the ISO language codes, there's no language with the code 'in'. Weird.
