@tomini the profile of the bands is basically the same. The plastic straps are identical. The grooves for the bands are identical.
As long as your strap doesn't touch the screen portion of the 3 it will fit the 4 (99% sure).

Sorry for deleting my reply, I thought it would be spam and moved it to it's own post.

I texted @MagicalUnicorn and @Kirill if I could help with translating Mi Band 4 FW to Czech language...
...while I'm waiting for official reply, I was wondering if anyone knows a way to do it. I looked and it could be a bit complex and I don't wanna brick my MB4 when it comes at my doorstep.

Here are some interesting videos:
  • Mi Band 4 without NFC (XMSH07HM):
Interesting, can someone identify those hardware models from the video.
MB4 firmware file is mush different from MB3 and it supports BLE 5.0 a SoC Dialog 14681 which used by MB3 does not supports.

Yes, that's right. For the Mi Band 4 without NFC (Chinese / Global version) is MCU Dialog series DA1469x.

Is it really the DA14697 type? Is the cheaper variant type DA14695 not used?
I think the reason for that is that the DA14697 supports eccentric rotors, which are used in the Mi band series for vibration.

The non NFC version also have DA14697 but notice the lack of many components compared with NFC version photo posted by @ryanw4ng. It seems both bands shares motherboard:
