Tutorial How to Install Firmware via GadgetBridge

I'm stuck at "connect to app to update" for about 30 minutes. What can I do?

Update Resources to the newest version: Resources - Resources v34 | GeekDoing.com
Update process is the same as for flashing firmware just choose *.res file.

GadgetBridge is always crashing here too...
i connect, open EZ File Manager, Click on file, it opens Gadget Bridge and crashes...
Tried 100 times...

OnePlus 5T.

I fixed this via changing phone's language to English but weirdly I didn't had to flash .fw file after change my language settings. My band is English now

Update: Changed my phone language to Turkish again and band is Chinese now...

The new official firmware 1.2.0.8 already have english inside, but the request is your phone system must be in English, otherwise, it will be only Chinese on your band.

Ok so you guys need to change phone language to English when installing .fw file if you having crash.

Thing is;

> have crash when installing .fw with GadgetBridge
> change phone to English
> try to install .fw with GadgetBridge
> change phone to your language again

I am using .fw with my band now with this way

Will the update notification still work after installing a custom firmware? Of course i won't get a e.g. german update for my german firmware - but will i be notified and/or will i get automatic updates (in chinese)? Or do i have to check here all the time if a new firmware is available?

If you have official Mi Fit installed on your phone and it will get update your Mi Band 3 will be automatically upgraded to new firmware. If you will need modified FW based on the new FW version again you will be able to download it from our site.

everything went weel, except the weather is still in chinese, did someone had the same issue? How to solve it?

Update your resources to the latetst version: FW Beta - Firmware 1.2.0.8 Beta
The same way as updating firmware via GadgetBridge.
