Hi, i installed this apk and after the firmware flash my mb4 was correctly in italian.
After that i reinstalled official mifit from play store and the app reflash firmware in english!

you can simply continue using the modified apk with a Mi account, and when Italian is officially available you can switch back to the official app ! same thing for french, it works perfectly with the apk

Thanks just installed this because my band was showing the name of Facebook contacts when receiving a message was in Chinese, the body of the text was English. Now it's all in English ☺️

Cyrillic characters are shown with a lot of spaces between them.

In German, special characters like ö,ü,ä are not used in message texts (tested with whatsapp and sms), they seem to appear in the standard menu items (titles, weather etc) only. Also, the date format of the default watch face is still american (ie 7/2 instead of 2.7). Is there a chance of getting this fixed in the next release?

EDIT: Special characters work through the alternative app "Mi Notify & Fitness for Mi Band" (Beta version 8.9.3 available as in-app download). Date format is already fixed in stock app 4.0.5
