Question Mi Band 3 NFC stuck on "connect to app to update"

I don’t want to start a new thread so hopefully you can help me. I’ve tried everything including updating the font file but I’m not having any luck. Please can someone give me a dumb down step by step guide I can try. Does it make a difference with not having the NFC version. I currently have version v2.0.0.4 installed

If your MiBand 3 is NFC then you have to use the NFC fw and res. Do you have the same problem I had?
