Welp time to choose now. Not gonna lie. I’m way interested with Amazfit band 6 features but i’m in Mi Band Family so should that’s kinda hard to choose. Also what “if” Amazfit Band 6 is a Mi Band 5 Pro lol.

Is there any predecessor of amazfit band 6 if not maybe it can be the pro ver. of mb5 Like redmi band as mi band 4c most prob I don't think it will happen to be pro because Xiaomi dumbness but let's see.

that's what i think too that they may announce something else than phones. if they still not reveal pro edition than i give up this whole band story. how they develop hardware and software is a disaster.

The spec of the Amazefit 6 mentions a clip dock for charging in the fine print so it seems it is not magnetic like the Mi Band 5.

Also, in searching for potential chipsets on the Amazefit, I found this: Huami's Next Wearable AI Chip Huangshan-2 Scheduled for Mass Production in Q4, 2020, 50% Energy Saved with Faster Atrial Fibrillation Detection

Based on what it says the newchipset Huangshan 2 will start production Q4 2020 so that is still months away. I suggest that Amazefit 6 will be using the gen 1 of the chipset because there is SomusCare access on the AF6 as noted on Magical Unicorn's screen shots. Huangshan 1 chipset supplies this feature.

The second gen chipset seems to have massive power saving and we might see it debut on the Mi Band 6.

If there is a clip then by very definition it is to be docked to the watch. I never claimed it it was as the Mi Band 4. Why the pedantry?

From Zepp (formerly Amazfit) 4.8.9 there is some things interesting like Tokyo is the codename for Amazfit Neo, Lisbon for Amazfit GTR 2, Newton for Amazfit GTS 2.

About Amazfit Band 6 news, here, like it will be for Kongming Pro and Lite.
