First thing first, you need to download "Xiaomi Mi Unlock Tool" / "Mi Blaze Unlock" (小米智能解锁) from the Windows Store. It’s free.

★ Mi Blaze Unlock 2.2.6.0 : Download.

★ Installation :
⤳ Download Mi Blaze Unlock 2.2.6.0 and unzip it.
⤳ Click on 小米感应钥匙 2.2.6.0.appx.

Yes, with Mi Band paired to Mi Fit you have to enable "Unlock Mi NoteBook" option in "Lab" for Mi Blaze Unlock find your SmartBand.

It's in "Settings" with Modified Mi Fit ^^.
Be sure you have Mi Fit 4.0.17 - All in One 1.5.

Edit: installed the official version and in lab the only thing I see I there is band lock, really lost now

Like I said, be sure you installed Mi Fit 4.0.17 - All in One 1.5 .

It's in Settings page where there is "Band lock" .

I see no mention of 4.0.1.7 all in one 1.5 in the application section this is what I'm running.. Modified Mi Fit 4.0.17 - All in One | Apps | GeekDoing

I'm being try 小米智能解锁 2.0.0.0, saddly it not seem we can pair Mi Band 2.
I searched and I don't find more older version :/.

Never mind It's good to own an older version when support for other bracelets may end.
