I just installed it on my miband 3, works fine exept that it only shows Steps and Battery. Calories and Distance is missing?

With Official it's normal.
Use English Custom firmware if you want English forced.

Although original FW can display items in English language, it needs your phone default language set to English. Otherwise Mi Band will be in Chinese. That's why you might need this custom firmware where English language is set explicitly.
