I've just found out that the "Smart Band 8" option is available on the European servers. Unfortunately, when I use the QR code to pair my CN band it says that the device it's not supported. So, we are still restricted to the Chinese servers and only CN/EN language for the M2239B1 model.

I've just got my Mi Band 8 CN and it has been updated to firmware version 1.2.138: It has the same changelog as 1.1.238. Could it be a typo in the first post?

Please, stop installing beta firmwares! Most of them are not compatible with current version of MiFit.

It seems that all beta firmwares after version 1.0.4.20 cannot pair with current releases of MiFit. This can't be a mistake. We'll have to wait for a version of MiFit that installs a v1.0.4.20+ stable firmware to see the result. Until then, you can wait or claim your warranty!

I hope that they are trying to implement a new pairing protocol with the new beta firmwares 1.0.4.20+ and a future version of MiFit. Creating and uploading "bad firmwares" by mistake (or even on purpose) and causing issues to beta testers is not wise for Huami or Xiaomi. I also had my band...

Messing with the firmware is not an option. It is digitally signed and any modification will result in it being rejected by the band. There is nothing to do except waiting for a "compatible" Mi Fit or spend another 30$ on buying a new band!
