Question Hebrew firmware

one of the reasons i still have LTR Hebrew on my band..seriously don't like N&F . also Mi Fit has a much nicer GUI & i have over 50 activities stored on their server (starting with Mi Band2) so..

So fully-featured with hebrew gui can work out with n&f (same as Arabic) , we need to ask for the developer for supporting us. Translation already exists, just to implement the necessary.

you don't need to unpair.
if this is the first time you'll be flashing fw, read the howto thread in the forum first. make sure you understand what you're doing

When I am flashing mi band with this fw using gadgetbridge app, mi band is trying to reconnect to the mi fit app without success. Which means that mi band shows only the clock and cannot connecting to the app again. In order to solve this issue, I flashed it again with lower fw version and then it reconnecting to the app and upgraded to the latest fw version.

So, what am I missing?? why did it stop working after I flashed it with the provided fw?

install the latest official (from store) version of Mi Fit which should upgrade your firmware & resources . test your band connection with Mi Fit. only then upgrade to the custom fw above

mi fit version is 3.5.4, which is the latest. the device is already upgraded with the latest fw version 2.0.0.4, where is can check the resources? it also upgraded the resources but I don't know what is the version of the resources.

you can find below the steps I followed:
1. Download mi fit and pair it with the device.
2.Waiting until the upgrade process of firmware & resources finished.
3. download gadgetbridge and N&F .
4. Flashed the provided fw with gadgetbridge .
5. The device cannot connect again with mi fit app and N&F app

sorry, no idea what you're doing "wrong". usually the message you're getting means you have the wrong resources for the fw installed

So I have Hebrew and it's RTL as long as I keep N&F running. At the moment there is no way of keeping it RTL without N&F, right?

i can confirm Firmware 2.2.0.14 | English Bold Font | Xiaomi Mi Band 3 | GeekDoing works fine with Hebrew characters .

^^ yes, you can set the phone's language to whatever,
this fw works same as any other custom fw that sets the band's default language

NO. the band's language is set by the custom fw to English
N&F in this case will only force the RTL support Xiaomi added with the official Arabic support.

i know it's greedy, buy any ways to see both hebrew and emojies?
i see an option to add emojies in N&F but it requiers to flash a firmware so i guess it breaks the hebrew support...

You need flash custom Font for have the emojis, but there is some problems with the Custom Fonts ^^.

You can use Alert Bridge to get better RTL support.
It works exactly as Gadgetbridge(same code I wrote), but the app is more stable (at least for the last time I checked)

i've tried using Alert Bridge and it wasn't stable at all. did they release a new version recently that changed anything?
